Mourinho Made Ferguson Retire

You know who I blame for Sir Alex Ferguson deciding it’s time to retire? Jose Mourinho.

If you think that is absurd consider this: Mourinho’s return would present him with a challenge to knock Manchester United off their perch. Chelsea have been Premier League champions and they’ve been European champions. So what could Mourinho offer?

Fergie has talked in a beautiful, endearing way about how he wants to be with his wife, who has supported him for years. It was emotional just listening to him.

But for me the possible arrival of Jose back at Chelsea precipitated the end for the greatest manager English football has seen.

A chance to take over from United permanently as the dominant force in the Premier League and Europe.

Alex Ferguson and Jose Mourinho
Real pain in the behind

That is Mourinho’s challenge, should he choose to accept it, rather than messing around with pay-offs and financial issues. (If he loved Chelsea, money wouldn’t be a problem, surely?)

Ferguson has every right to turn that challenge down. He is interested in football, not soundbites and enigmatic press conferences.

He is also not interested in any touchline nonsense.

The last time Mourinho was asked to end the dominance of another club was when he took over at Real Madrid. He had no chance of doing it with football, so he poked a coach in the eye, called Barcelona cheats, and left Pep Guardiola so disillusioned with football he gave up.

If Mourinho is happy doing that to Guardiola, he won’t shirk from trying similar tactics with Ferguson. And the old man couldn’t take that-any more.

yeah yeah yeah,. Ferguson has seen the dominance of Liverpool in the past, the Invincibles of Arsenal and Arsen Wenga, the millions of Abramovich with Mourinho, the resurgence of chelsea under Ancelloti, and now the billions of Abu Dhabi with their Man city but Manchester united still remained top. The guy has seen it all and conquered. He has gone to rest, theres nothing new any manager can tell him.

football propaganda. Abramovich has refused to buyout mourihno contract at madrid worth 17 million pounds. He still has forgotten he paidout 10 million pounds to mourinho for parting with him before his contract is up. So it still remains a rumour if he will return. So the rest of this story remains make believe.

Sir Alex decided to retire in Dec 2012 and only the Glazers and CEO David Gill knew.

He was sharp. Quit while ahead. If Mourinho had quit after Chealse, He would be a legend but saa hii mara 4-0. he has been reduced to 0.

Your heading is not only comical but ridiculous..what ferguson doesn't know about football is not important..if the two managers were women..fergie would be..good in bed..honest..committed..faithful and definately a keeper..mourinho..good in bed..someone who is already to willing..and a show off..thank God he isn't fergie's replacement..with the kind of arrogance he possess man utd would go to the archives..

Is it Mourinho quiting because of his inability to cope in la liga or Fergie quiting because of him? From my point of view i see a distraught Mourinho who even with the most expensive squad in the world has only had one shot at the tittle, come next season Barcelona will still beat him (if he still happens to be at Real) at the domestic tittle. So why not fancy a realistic chance at EPL? .To me Mourinho needs Chelsea than the latter needs him. Him being a match for Fergie, is quite a comparison that only history can judge when he is also 71.

39years in management, 38trophies with manchester united and a european cup with Aberdeen (minnows who beat the legendary Real madrid), why would the only living knight in football run away from mourinho? It's time to rest.

This story is Laughable. Fergie quiting because of Jose? Ha ha.
Miurinho should have dethroned Barca before leaving la liga.

Comparing any manager in the premier league to Sir Alex Ferguson is gross, for the past 20 years he has won the title 13 times while other 5 managers Mourinho included have shared it for 7 years. Ferguson has left while still at the top not to mention that he is 71 years old, let him take a deserved rest.
